No, this course isn't located on Australia's Gold Coast! It is actually in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, which is 40 miles east of Cork and 25 miles west of Waterford city. It is a scenic and challenging parkland course which is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean. You enjoy breathtaking views of Dungarvan Bay and the Comeragh mountains and, all in all, it's definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in this neck of the woods. It was founded in 1939 and was originally just nine holes. It has now been extended to 18 holes, though, and the mature tree-lined fairways of the 'old nine' have been cleverly mixed with the long and challenging new holes. Visitors are welcome at 'any time'.
